Dork Diaries 3 1/2: How To Dork Your Diary

I’ve been writing in my diary since the start of the school year, and I almost always take it wherever I go—but OMG!—of course, one morning I just could not find it ANYWHERE! Eek! I looked for it EVERYWHERE, writing down anywhere I thought it could maybe be…losing your diary is the WORST!! Then I decided that until I find it, I totally HAD to put together a list of important diary-keeping lessons to remember in case of missing diary emergencies like this one.
This diary is full of tips from me on fun things to write about in your diary, with space for you to write and draw your own entries. Meanwhile, my BFFs Chloe and Zoey, my ANNOYING little sister Brianna, my crush Brandon (sighhh), and mean girl Mackenzie are all involved in the search for my real diary, with plenty of adventures along the way! SQUEEE!!!

I am so excited about this book because it looks and sounds so interesting. This book is coming out October 2011 ( YAY!!!!!!).
Get ready Dork diary lovers.

Earth Day Your Way!

Whether you're a green-at-heart queen or a just-do-my-part tween, there are many special things you can do for Earth Day that will inspire you to do more for the earth everyday!

For the Facebook/internet Addict! :
Post a video online explaining why you care about a specific environmental cause, like saving the sharks or conserving water. Get your friends to share it and spread it you ideas!

For the Future Business Woman/Tweentrpreneur! :
Hold an Earth Day Garage Sale in your neighborhood (your family can help) and sell all the things you no longer need. Donate half ( or all ) your earnings to an eco charity.

For Creative Young Chef! :
Help mom prepare a day's worth of all-fruit-and-veggie meals. Think outside the salad box and add your own creative twist! You can search online or flip thorough cooking magazines like Yummy for cool mouth-watering ideas!

For the Barkada Gimmick Planner : Hold a nature or animal film movie marathon with your friends! Not only will it be fun, but they'll also get you thinking about what life would be like without the oceans (Disney's Oceans), or if we lived in a world of trash ( Wall-E).

For the Sporty Gal! :
Learn to ride a bike. It's an important skill you'll never forget and, when you're older , you can bike to places instead of using a car. Already know how? Teach a younger sibling or a friend.

I really think you can help the Earth with these simple things. Try doing it at home and see if it works.

Easter is here and so is Hop!

Did you hear about Hop? If you haven't, well you're in luck because I will tell you all about it.  Hop is a movie about a bunny named EB who was about to be crowned The Easter Bunny.

EB was not interested in becoming the Easter Bunny.  He wanted to be a drummer instead; so on the day of his coronation, he runs away. He meets a human in the middle of his adventure and becomes friends with him. I found the movie nice and cool because a human and a bunny became best friends.

This Movie made me want to take a look at Easter Island. Did you know that Easter Island is part of Chile? Did you also know that Easter Island is famous for its 887 extant monumental statues called moai created by the early Rapanui people? In the movie, they used these statues as the door to the underground chocolate and candy factory.

If you have time, go and watch Hop because you might have fun.

Live to Dance

Dancers from all over the country auditioned for Live to Dance.

This show premiered on January 4, 2011 and is headlined by a dance choreographer, popstar and a previous American Idol judge Paula Abdul as lead judge. Judging with her is former Pussycat doll member Kimberly Wyatt.

Judging with the other judges is Michael Jackson's long-time choreographer Travis Payne. This Show has announced that they will not make a second season.

I thought that this show was amazing because they allowed a 93 years old lady to audition.  This show is the American version of the British dance competition Got to Dance.  An Australian version will be filmed in 2011.

Love,
